ABOUT GEMMA JACKSON

Gemma Jackson has been designing for both Film and Television for many years.
Best known for being the original designer and creator for GAME OF THRONES, Gemma designed the first three seasons. She won a Primetime Emmy for Season 2.
Most recently Gemma designed the sets for Disney’s ALADDIN directed by Guy Ritchie.
Amongst her other work is JOHN ADAMS a 6 part series for HBO directed by Tom Hooper for which Gemma won a Primetime Emmy, FINDING NEVERLAND for which she was nominated for both an Academy Award and a BAFTA. FORTITUDE a Sky Atlantic series for which she was nominated for a BAFTA, KING ARTHUR: LEGEND OF THE SWORD directed by Guy Ritchie, BRIDGET JONES DIARY directed by Sharon Maguire, BRIDGET JONES: EDGE OF REASON directed by Beeban Kidron, IRIS directed by Richard Eyres, THE BORROWERS directed by Peter Hewitt, STATE AND MAIN directed by David Mamet, DEATH DEFYING ACTS directed by Gillian Armstrong for which she received an Australian Film Award, and many more.
Gemma has been awarded several ADG awards, and last year was delighted to receive a Lifetime Achievement award from the BFDG.
